Chagall
After dark the colors seem deeper, richer. Without the roar of weekday traffic, it's quieter, too, except for the steady sound of wind rushing between buildings.
Chagall
Chagall often visited Chicago over the decades when his work was exhibited at the Art Institute. In his mosaic, created in 1974, he sought to capture the fluid movement of a city community. The four seasons theme represents human life at its different stages, both in a physical and spiritual capacity.

gaudian gorgeousness
more gaudian gorgeousness from the roof of La Pedrera. This is actually one of the stairwells that bring you out onto the roof - mosiac masterpiece!
St Peters Stations Mosaic
After waiting in line to go through the security checkpoint, you then wait in line for tickets to go up in the cupola, if desired (we desired). There were some beautiful mosiacs along the wall where we waited in the second line.
